Changes in the list of goods subject to mandatory labelling

Changes were made to the list of goods subject to mandatory labelling
In particular, the following changes have been made:

  • the deadline for introducing mandatory marking of bicycles and bicycle frames has been postponed to 1 March 2023 (previously 1 March 2022);
  • the deadline for introduction of mandatory marking of wheelchairs has been set for February 1, 2023;
  • the list of goods subject to mandatory marking by means of identification was extended to include beer and beer beverages, cider, other fermented beverages with an actual alcohol concentration not exceeding 7%;
  • the period for introduction of compulsory marking of beer and beer drinks will be determined by the results of an experiment to be held from 1 April 2021 to 31 August 2022.
    It is also proposed to conduct an experiment on marking certain types of alcoholic products, including wine, from 1 June 2022 to 31 August 2023.
    The Ministry of Industry and Trade has also proposed to run an experiment on labelling of fish products in consumer packaging from April 1, 2022 to February 28, 2023. The ministry’s draft government decree has been published on the federal portal of draft regulatory legal acts.
